In an attempt to cram as much summer fun into our last weekend as we possibly could, we met our bffs at our favorite splash park to let the kids run and play. Of course it hasn't rained in AGES...we're in the worst drought ever...and it chooses today of ALL days to cloud up and thunder and lighting and force a mandatory, full scale, all hands on deck evacuation. Did it actually rain you ask...nope! At least WE didn't get a single drop of rain on the way back to the hotel. The kids were SO bummed to have to leave after playing for such a short period of time with our friends that we don't get to see often enough anymore. That just means we HAVE to get again sometime SOON!!! :)
