SXSW

Daddy took the kids to SXSW (South by South West) Saturday morning with a buddy.  The kids LOVE going downtown!

What a fun morning with Daddy!  :)

Cooking

Aunt N got Little Miss A a fun cupcake set a while back and we used Spring Break as a time to "break" it out!  A absolutely loved it!  She could do the whole thing on her own.

YUM!

St. Paddy's Day

We began our St. Patrick's Day with green hot chocolate, green eggs and green iced cinnamon rolls!  That crazy leprechaun had so major green fun in the kitchen this morning.  :)
We went upstairs, tossed on our green garb and began or day of play!

First Sleepover

Little Miss A had her first sleepover!  She and T had so much fun!!! The girls played barbies, babies, puzzles, crafts and games then called it a night with a movie, popcorn and a prize!  :)
Mr. D definitely makes up the 3rd part of this trio and was trying to figure out how he played into the scenario on a sleepover night...here's what we came up with
Mr. D has already decided we need to have his friend D come over for a sleep over as soon as he gets back from San Diego. :)  Meanwhile, Little Miss A is aready planning her next sleep over as well.  Let the sleep over games begin!!!!

Inner Space Caverns

We went with some friends to a local cave to see the sights and have some fun.  K & T are the perfect complementary to pair to my A & D!  The double sets walked through the cave hand in hand!  It was awesome!  My kids just LOVE the G girls!!!  We are so happy to have met them!  :)

Rodeo Day

As we celebrate Texas Independence Day, the Kindergarten team hosts Rodeo Day!  The kids wear their "Texas Best" and have a morning filled with cowboy/cowgirl fun.  Crafts, games, activities and snacks. :)
They had so much fun with their friends. :)

Zilker Kite Festival

One of our favorite Austin traditions...Zilker Kite Festival.  Even better when it's a crystal clear, breezy kind of day!

Soccer Practice

After winning the World Cup in the fall, Mr. D's soccer team is reunited for another wonderful season...with one wonderful addition...Little Miss A.  YEA!!!!  :)
Geared up and ready to go!  :)

Ash Wednesday

Both Caswell kids decided to be nicer to one another this year for Lent.  :)

Games

With the major influx of new technology in the house over the course of the past few months, the kids have become little gamers!  It's hilarious actually!  :)
 UNO!
UNO cards AND Angry Birds...that's called multi-tasking!  :)

Soccer "Try-outs"

Another soccer sasons upon us and this go round both Caswell Kids are playing.   In preparation for the season, they had a soccer skills day at the neighborhood park again.  It was fun to see both of them out there together.

It' going to be a fun season!  :)

Pedicures

Little Miss A went for her first "real" pedicure with more than just Mommy. :)  FUN!!!

Cinderella Ball

The UT Club hosted a Cinderella Ball for Daddys and Daughters!  Little Miss A and her sweet friend T went together with the Daddys.  I helped my sweet girl get dolled up for the occasion.  Make up and an up do and she was ready to go.  :)
 The "belles of the ball!
The mommas and Mr. D crashed the party goers and created our own after party...gaming!
The princesses...

Marathon Kids

The marathon the kids were running over the course of the past few months finally had the "final mile" and "closing ceremony" of the games.
Pre-run hang out with friends!
Post run medals.
Little Miss A and Mr. D we are SO proud of you!!!

Nursery Rhyme Parade

While studying Nursery Rhymes in Kinder at school, the teachers organize a Nursery Rhyme Parade to share with the school.  The kids were to dress up as a character from their favorite nursery rhyme character and memorize the rhyme to share with their class.
Pat-A-Cake
Old King Cole

Mr. D actually shared his rhyme with his classmates, Little Miss A, not so much.  :)

Valentine's Day

A & D had fun putting all of their classmates Valentines together and gearing up for a fun party day!

SNOW DAY!!!!!

Yep, the beginning of February it actually snowed here!  The kids loved it! With a day off from school (a Friday at that) we had so much fun!!!!  Sledding down our GIANT hill, snowball fights, hiking, building snowmen and snow angels with hot chocolate breaks/fireplace time to warm up between almost every activity.  We had to enjoy the morning since by noon it was gone!  We just LOVE our snow days in Austin!

February Fumble

So, we've been blogger MIA the past month or so.  Crazy busy, but just doing our usual things.  Hiking, biking, playing with friends, etc.  In an attempt to "catch up" a bit, I am going to post some of our "highlights" from our blogging hiatus.  :)
