Bat Fest

All summer Little Miss A has been asking for a toe ring. She and I got one together at the Austin annual Bat Fest. :) We made an afternoon of the event and browsed and ate, enjoyed live music and people watched. What a fun end of summer treat. (Although truth be told, we both love our toe rings so much I wish we would have begun the summer with them so we could have enjoyed them longer. Little Miss A has to wear sneakers everyday to school, so the toe ring may not last long for her.)

Make Up

Little Miss A realized she still had her recital make up in her dance bag and came downstairs looking like this...

Isn't she lovely?

A Daddy Do

Little Miss A asked Daddy for some braids tonight. (I honestly think she could ask her Daddy for anything...total Daddy's girl syndrome!!!) Anyway, I snapped some pics of the momentous occasion...too cute!!!

Boots

Little Miss A and Mr. D came running down he stairs this morning in their boots, insisting that I needed to wear boots too!! I told them to pick some out and that we'd be triplets this morning. They picked out the most atrocious pair that I have and even put them on for me. I think I need a more Texas option for them to choose from.

Up Do

I may need to start relinquishing some control when it comes to Little Miss A's hair do's. She was playing dress up and came downstairs with this cute do!!!

She did it on her own...

I was thinking we really had something...UNTIL I went to take it out tonight and it was one giant knot. I was seriously thinking I was going to have to cut her beautiful hair to get it out. 10 minutes later she was freed of the hair ties. Maybe we'll keep practicing with a little Mommy help before I truly turn her loose on a daily basis. :)

Confused?

The rules of fashion according to Little Miss A:
When trying to decide whether to dress the part of a princess or western cowgirl...do both. :)
