Ice Cream Social

Ms. L's class at school had an end of year ice cream social with A & D's 2nd grade book buddies. The kids were so cute with their friends. After the sugar rush from all those fun toppings, the kids got to run and play with their friends. They did bubbles, sidewalk chalk, played kick ball and just ran around like crazy...they had a blast.

Their book buddies have been so sweet with them this year. (You probably already read about D's possessive side when it came to seeing his book buddy at the play last week.) Every day we walk into school with shouts of hello from our friends followed by sweet hugs and holding hands on the way to class. What a way to start the day. We sure are going to miss them next year when we're at our new school, but we're hoping that we'll make new friends that are just as sweet. :)
